This was no accident. It had been over a year since Jimmy had been assigned to pick up a target. Special Ops weren't designated for a task that many considered menial, but it didn't mean he would take the job light-heartedly. It was a missive, and there was a purpose for it to be handed out. He glanced over to his temporary partner, the purpose of the assignment clear: stay out of the other agents' way.

Jamie leaned back in his seat, tapping his fingers restlessly on the arm, gaze darting from out the window to the radio to the floor to Jimmy and back outside again. He hated riding passenger. It left him restless and wanting for something to do.

And very tempted to channel his fourteen year old self and ask Jimmy to play I Spy or something equally ridiculous.

Are we there yet?

The rubble from the city gave way to scorched forest and rebuilt buildings along the highway. He wondered where Candice and Kirin had been sent to, and if they were in driving distance at all. Turning into the gravel entrance of the run-of-the-mill biker bar, Jimmy keyed the engine.

"Here's our stop, shame we couldn't bring my bike out for this."

"With me riding behind you? Not happening," Jamie returned with a snort, tucking an extra clip inside his belt. Just in case.

"So what are we looking at here?"

"Caucasian male, 5 feet, six inches. Goes by the name Bo, and generate air streams." he detailed out the report, stripping off his work suit down to his back tank top. "Come on, I wouldn't have told anyone you rode in the bitchseat."
